The Afreximbank Compliance Forum (ACF2025) will take place from November 12 to 14, 2025, in Kigali, Rwanda, co-hosted by Afreximbank and the National Bank of Rwanda.
The theme is “Enhanced Compliance – Enhanced Trade: Leveraging AI to Foster and Safeguard Trade Through a Contemporary AML/CFT Compliance Framework.”
The forum will focus on using AI for risk assessment, fraud detection, and real-time transaction monitoring to combat financial crime and enhance transparency in trade.
Keynote speakers include Dr. George Elombi from Afreximbank and Hon. Soraya M. Hakuziyaremye from the National Bank of Rwanda.
The event targets regulators, banking professionals, and technology experts, discussing topics like AI in compliance and strategies against Trade-Based Money Laundering (TBML).
