On November 16, 2025, the Joint Security Patrol Team in Gunjur Division arrested three individuals for allegedly possessing cannabis sativa during a patrol in Tujereng Estate.

The suspects were taken to Gunjur Police Station and then transferred to DLEAG. The operation, led by D/Inspector Tumani Sonko, received commendation from Superintendent Modou S. R. Kujabi for the team’s professionalism.

The Gambia Police Force continues to focus on maintaining peace and security through regular patrols.
