The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) is hosting the 5th Edition of the Sir Dawda Kairaba Jawara International Human Rights Moot Court Competition in The Gambia, in collaboration with the University of The Gambia.

This event aims to enhance advocacy skills among university students across Africa and to honor former Gambian President Sir Dawda Kairaba Jawara’s contributions to the African human rights system.

The theme is ‘Climate Change and Human Rights,’ and it will involve law students, practitioners, and civil society representatives discussing human rights challenges in Africa.
