The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.) is collaborating with African Energy Week (AEW) to enhance Nigeria’s energy sector, with an event planned in Cape Town from September 29 to October 3, 2025.

The company is advancing the African Atlantic Gas Pipeline (AAGP) project to connect Nigeria’s gas reserves with West Africa and Europe. It has secured agreements to improve the upstream sector, including contracts with Dangote Oil Refinery for over 112 million barrels of crude oil.

NNPC Ltd. aims to attract $60 billion in investments by 2030, focusing on upstream operations, gas infrastructure, and refinery sustainability, while promoting transparency and energy security to establish Nigeria as a key player in Africa’s energy landscape.
