Gambia U-17 Football Team Prepares for WAFU-A CAF U-17 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers

The Gambia U-17 football team completed player screenings at Ousman Saho Football Field, with coach Yahya Manneh preparing for the WAFU-A CAF U-17 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in Mali, where they will compete in Group A against Mali, Guinea-Bissau, and Liberia, following their bronze medal win in Senegal.

The Gambia U-17 team has successfully conducted player screenings at the Ousman Saho Football Field in Yundum.

Head coach Yahya Manneh and his staff are set to commence regular training on September 22, 2025, as they prepare for the WAFU-A CAF U-17 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in Mali.

The Gambia has been placed in Group A, alongside Mali, Guinea-Bissau, and Liberia. The team aims to build on their previous achievement of securing a bronze medal in the last tournament held in Senegal.
