Access Bank Gambia has completed its acquisition of Standard Chartered Bank Gambia, having received the necessary approvals. The bank will now operate under the name Access Bank Gambia.

Managing Director Stephen Abban noted that this acquisition will enhance financial services in the country. As part of Access Bank Plc, the bank aims for sustainable growth and excellent customer service, earning the 2024 Euromoney Award for Best Bank in The Gambia.

The bank plans to strengthen customer relationships by expanding its network to 11 branches and 22 automated teller machines (ATMs). It is dedicated to offering smooth services and technology-based financial solutions to both new and existing customers.
