The Sudanese army reported that the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have launched their first drone attack on Port Sudan, targeting Osman Digna Air Base, an ammunition depot, and nearby civilian facilities. While damage has been noted, there are no confirmed injuries or deaths.

Flights to and from Port Sudan have been suspended, and a plane from Dubai had to divert to Saudi Arabia. This attack is particularly significant as Port Sudan was previously considered a haven for displaced people amidst the ongoing conflict between the army and RSF.
