Qatar University Partners with UTG to Enhance Business Education

This project is a partnership between Qatar University and the University of The Gambia (UTG), with support from the Qatar Fund for Development. It aims to improve business education in Africa.

The project focuses on reducing youth unemployment by equipping graduates with practical skills and fostering an entrepreneurial mindset. It will update the curriculum, guide business planning, and strengthen research skills, ensuring that UTG’s programs meet both national and international standards.

The new curriculum will incorporate ideas about sustainable entrepreneurship and plans for establishing incubation hubs are underway. The pilot phase will last two years, aiming to establish a long-term partnership that benefits The Gambia and other regions.
