President Adama Barrow opened the College of Science and Engineering at USET in Brikama.
This is an important step for education in The Gambia. He noted that the late Vice President Badara Alieu Joof had attended the foundation ceremony.
The new campus will provide advanced resources to support innovation and skills development through international cooperation.
This project helps the government improve STEM education, offer specialized services locally, and boost economic growth.
The United States, through its Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, has partnered with IDLO to provide comprehensive legal training for state counsels in The Gambia, aimed at strengthening the justice system, upholding human rights, and improving legal capacity in areas such as civil litigation, prosecutorial skills, and corporate governance.
