UNCTAD and GRA held ASYCUDA World training in The Gambia to enhance customs digitalization and improve trade process efficiency.
The ASYCUDA World Functional Training took place at Bakadaji Hotel from May 7 to May 23, 2025. This event was organized by UNCTAD and GRA to help improve Customs operations through digital changes in trade processes.
The training aimed to give participants a clear understanding of different ASYCUDA World modules.
These included Cargo Manifest, Goods Clearance and Accounting, System Administration, and other areas related to system setup and risk management.
The second day of the study tour between the Gambia Revenue Authority (GRA) and the National Revenue Authority (NRA) of Sierra Leone involved visits to three factories: Bell Bottling Company, Naturelle Mineral Water, and S.
