WAFFEST-2025-Gambia

The Gambia Chefs Association participated in the West African Food Festival (WAFFEST) in Accra, Ghana, on September 21 to 22, with support from the Gambia Tourism Board.

WAFFEST, established in 2018, celebrates African culinary traditions and fosters regional cultural exchange.

Chef Musa Darboe leads Team Gambia, which has previously won awards such as Best Chef and Best Dessert in 2019, and excelled in the Jollof Rice War Competition in 2023.
