Senegal took third place in the 2025 AfroBasket by beating Cameroon 98-72. This was Senegal’s fourth podium finish in five tournaments. Jean-Jacques Boissy made history by scoring 40 points.

Senegal led at halftime, 49-26, and showed great teamwork. Brancou Badio added 18 points, and Ibou Badji contributed 12 points. Senegal forced 20 turnovers and capitalized on Cameroon’s shooting struggles.

Despite some good performances from Jordan Bayehe and Jeremiah Hill, Cameroon finished in fourth place. Senegal’s strong performance shows they will be formidable competitors in future tournaments.
