VP Jallow Honors the Late Former Nigerian President Buhari and Signs the Condolence Book

Vice President Mohammed B.S. Jallow honored the late Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari at the Nigerian High Commission in Banjul, signing a condolence book and recognizing his legacy of integrity and support for The Gambia’s 2016 political transition.

Vice President Mohammed B.S. Jallow visited the Nigerian High Commission in Banjul to pay tribute to the late former Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari, who passed away on 12 July 2023.

He signed a condolence book on behalf of President Adama Barrow and expressed condolences to Nigeria. Jallow praised Buhari’s commitment to public service, peace, and his crucial role in The Gambia’s 2016 political transition.

He recognized Buhari’s legacy of integrity, stating that Africa has lost a great leader. Sering Modou Njie, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, accompanied Jallow.
