Therese Mendy, the Plaintiff, testified on Monday before the Bundung Magistrate Court to recover her funds amounting to D150,000 from Musa James Gomez. Magistrate Dawda Fatty presided over the case.

Plaintiff asserted that she entered a visa transaction with Defendant, who charged her D150,000 for the complete process. She indicated that she had made an initial payment of D50,000, and a week later, the Defendant contacted her to collect the card. The Plaintiff stated that she made her final payment of D100,000 upon receiving the card. However, despite paying D150,000 as agreed, the Defendant did not provide the promised visa.

After two months of paying D40,000 without resolution, Plaintiff reported the matter to the police, leaving a remaining balance of D110,000. Since then, the Defendant has failed to settle the outstanding amount. Consequently, the police advised the Plaintiff to pursue legal action against the Defendant.

The case has been adjourned until December 23rd.
