The ICT Undersecretary visits the South African media to prepare for the upcoming elections.

On November 24, 2025, Mawien Bulabek Chol, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information, Communication Technology, and Postal Services, led a delegation of 14 media representatives from South Sudan to Pretoria, South Africa.

The purpose of the week-long visit is to learn about advancements in media technology, with visits planned to the South African Broadcasting Corporation and the South African Press Council.

This knowledge aims to assist the South Sudan government in preparing for the upcoming general elections and promoting messages of peace and reconciliation. Notable members of the delegation include Commissioner Moyiga Nduru and Minister Samuel Nichola Cornelio.
