Kanifing Magistrate Court Grants Bail to 23 Protesters
On August 27, 2025, twenty-three protesters opposing PURA’s mobile internet cost increase were granted D50,000 bail each by Magistrate Thomas Touray, with a hearing scheduled for September 11, while twenty-one others arrested for obstructing police were released.
