23 Charged by Police for Unlawful Assembly (Protest)

The Kanifing Magistrates’ Court, under Magistrate Thomas Fuad Touray, is hearing the case of 23 individuals charged with Unlawful Assembly and Control of Procession, with Chief Inspector Alasana E. Bah cross-examined and proceedings set to resume on October 9, 2025.

The legal proceedings against 23 people are ongoing in front of Magistrate Thomas Fuad Touray at the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court.

An extra charge of Unlawful Assembly has been added to the pre-existing charge of Control of Procession.

The case, which featured the cross-examination of Chief Inspector Alasana E. Bah, is set to be resumed on Thursday, October 9, 2025.
