On Monday, September 8, Morocco defeated Zambia 2-0 in a World Cup qualifying match, maintaining the top position in Group E with an 11-point lead over Tanzania.

Youssef En-Nesyri and Hamza Igamane scored early goals, marking Morocco’s seventh consecutive win and making them the first African team to qualify for the World Cup.

Zambia, struggling in the qualifiers with four losses in six matches, failed to score despite attempts from Fashion Sakala and Patson Daka.
