The esteemed Foreign Affairs Minister of The Gambia, His Excellency Sering Modou Njie, met with Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi, in Doha on November 3, 2025.

Their conversation focused on improving bilateral cooperation between The Gambia and Qatar, along with a commitment to enhancing diplomatic ties for shared prosperity.

Minister Njie is in Doha to participate in the Second World Summit for Social Development, scheduled to be held from November 4 to 6, 2025, which is centered on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
