Bilateral meeting during Interpol’s 93rd General Assembly in Marrakech.

IGP Seedy Mukhtar Touray met with Turkish Deputy Minister of Interior, Mr. Munir Karaloĝulu, on November 24 during the INTERPOL General Assembly in Marrakech.

They discussed enhancing collaboration between The Gambia Police Force and the Turkish Ministry of Interior, emphasizing Türkiye’s support through specialized training for Gambian officers.

Mr. Karaloĝulu expressed appreciation for The Gambia’s support at INTERPOL and interest in expanding cooperation, particularly regarding Türkiye’s INTERPOL Presidency bid.

Both parties committed to intensifying collaboration to address regional and transnational security challenges.
