Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump held competing rallies in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Friday, November 1st, as they made a final effort to win over the crucial swing state with ten electoral votes. It marked another significant day of presidential campaigning in Wisconsin as both candidates intensified their outreach just days before Tuesday’s election.

Former President Trump had previously rallied at Milwaukee’s Fiserv Forum in July, where he accepted the Republican National Convention’s nomination. Meanwhile, Vice President Harris addressed supporters at the Wisconsin State Fair Exposition Center in West Allis on Friday night.

Harris began her three-stop tour in Wisconsin with an afternoon event in Janesville. She then attended a Get Out The Vote rally at Little Chute High School in the Appleton area before arriving in Milwaukee. The Journal Sentinel and USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin provided live coverage of the day’s events.

At the Fiserv Forum on Friday night, Trump energized his supporters by declaring, “If elected, America will be bigger, better, bolder, richer, safer, and stronger than ever before.” This rally followed his earlier address at the same venue during the Republican National Convention in July, where he formally accepted the party’s nomination.

During her 23-minute speech in West Allis, delivered to a vibrant crowd of 13,000, Harris emphasized the stark differences between herself and Trump, asserting her readiness to confront challenges. “Because when you know what you stand for, you know what to fight for,” she declared, receiving enthusiastic applause from the audience. Days before Election Day, Harris expressed her belief in the American promise, stating that she has lived it and sees it reflected in the voters rallying around her.
