GPF holds a safety and partnership meeting with drivers at Banjul Garage.

The Community Policing Unit of the Gambia Police Force held a road safety sensitisation session for drivers at the Banjul Garage on November 25, 2025.

Led by Inspector Alieu Gaye, the session focused on preventing crime and enhancing police-community cooperation. It emphasized the importance of adhering to traffic laws and not supporting criminal activities.

Drivers expressed appreciation for the initiative, raised concerns about young, inexperienced drivers, and requested similar programs in other garages, highlighting the GPF’s commitment to community partnerships and public safety.
