A group of 39 Gambian men is participating in a migration program to Spain, part of a partnership between The Gambia and Spain aimed at creating job opportunities.

The initiative was announced by the Ministry of Trade and Employment, with Permanent Secretary Mod AK Secka encouraging the workers to represent their country well.

Spanish Chargé d’Affaires Violeta Insa highlighted that the workers’ success will influence the program’s future. The workers received their travel documents and work permits at the launch ceremony.
