This training aimed to help agencies understand ethical practices and protect the rights of Gambian migrant workers, particularly considering new labor agreements with Saudi Arabia and Spain.

Marie Stella Ndiaye from the IOM spoke about the importance of ethical recruitment in preventing exploitation. Mr. Mamadi Dampha from MoTIE discussed the technical gaps in these agreements and highlighted the need for best practices to ensure compliance and reduce risks.

The session focused on fairness and respect for the rights of migrant workers in the global labor market.
