The philanthropic arm of GACH Global, the Abubakary Jawara Foundation, has generously donated 50 solar streetlights valued at D400,000 to the community of Bakau. The streetlights were installed last week in response to a request from the residents, with the aim of enhancing security and reducing crime in the area.

Abubakary Jawara, the esteemed founder and CEO of GACH Global, emphasized that this contribution reflects the foundation’s unwavering commitment to supporting the government’s development initiatives. He stressed that the foundation maintains its independence from any political associations and is dedicated to making contributions without constraints. He expressed the view that sharing what we can is the most meaningful way to give back to society. Jawara also acknowledged the warm reception and hospitality extended to him and his family by the Bakau community.

Jawara further encouraged communities and individuals nationwide to complement government endeavors to improve infrastructure, particularly at the local level. Additionally, residents who spoke at the event expressed joy and sincere gratitude to the foundation for its kindness. They conveyed their happiness at receiving these items from Mr. Jawara and wholeheartedly thanked him for his generosity.
