The Regional Conference on Information Integrity in West Africa and the Sahel will take place in Praia from September 3 to 5, 2025, organized by the Government of Cabo Verde and UNESCO.
The conference, attended by GPU Secretary General Modou Joof and supported by the National Democratic Institute, aims to enhance information integrity policies, improve governance of digital platforms, and protect human rights.
Key outcomes expected include a model policy on information integrity, a framework for digital platform governance, and an action plan for the region.
