National Workshop on Integrating Hepatitis Indicators into DHIS2

The Ministry of Health is hosting a five-day national workshop from November 24–28, 2025, with support from Africa CDC and KOICA. The workshop aims to integrate hepatitis indicators into the national Health Management Information System (DHIS2).

Key stakeholders, including the HMIS Unit, planning units, EPI, regional directorates, and partner institutions, will collaborate to standardize hepatitis indicators for national reporting.

This initiative seeks to enhance data quality, enable timely analysis, support evidence-based policy formulation, and improve hepatitis surveillance and public health outcomes in The Gambia.
