On October 28, 2025, The Gambia and Morocco signed a Military Cooperation Agreement during a visit by The Gambia’s Minister of Defense.
The agreement aims to foster collaboration in defense through training, joint exercises, and the exchange of expertise.
It also establishes a Joint Military Committee (JMC) to oversee its implementation, reflecting the strong friendship and mutual respect between the two nations.
