The Gambia Police Force, in collaboration with the Women’s Association for Victim Empowerment, completed a regional training program for 200 recently graduated law enforcement officers on October 24, 2025, at the Police Training School in Banjulinding.

The program focused on human rights principles, lawful use of force, and The Gambia’s Anti-Torture Law. Participants were encouraged to apply their training professionally, and the GPF emphasized its commitment to capacity building, accountability, and the promotion of human rights and the rule of law.
