B2Gold Advances Mali, Namibian Gold Production Ahead of African Mining Week (AMW) 2025

B2Gold sets ambitious 2025 gold production targets of 970,000-1,075,000 oz from Mali and Namibia operations, including expansions at Fekola and Otjikoto, as its Namibia leader joins discussions on Africa’s gold sector at the October 2025 African Mining Week in Cape Town.

B2Gold, a Canadian mining company, has set its 2025 gold production target between 970,000 and 1,075,000 ounces, focusing on operations in Mali and Namibia. Key highlights include:

Namibia: The Otjikoto Mine is expected to produce 185,000 to 205,000 ounces, with plans for the Antelope underground deposit to add an annual 110,000 ounces.

Mali: The Fekola Complex is projected to yield 515,000 to 550,000 ounces, with an exploration permit aimed at adding 180,000 ounces by early 2026.

Event Participation: B2Gold’s Country Manager for Namibia, John Roos, will join a panel at the African Mining Week conference in Cape Town, discussing Africa’s gold economy.

The conference aligns with the African Energy Week, emphasizing investment opportunities in mining and energy across Africa.
