During a meeting between officials in Egypt, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan condemned Israel’s intentions to assert control over the Gaza Strip, denouncing it as “unacceptable” and an effort to “de-Palestinize” the region.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced plans to gain control of Gaza, beginning with Gaza City. Reports indicate that the Israeli Security Cabinet has approved this proposal, although they did not verify a complete takeover.

Furthermore, Ankara called for solidarity among Muslim countries regarding the situation, while Egypt, Qatar, and the U.S. have been involved in mediation efforts that have not yielded lasting results.
