Hon. Hamat Bah Calls on Gambian Youth to Acquire Skills and Reject Negative Influences

NRP leader Hamat Bah urges Gambian youth to pursue skills training, uphold peace, and support democratic governance while promoting political unity and lawful expression.

Hamat NK Bah, the Secretary-General and Party Leader of the National Reconciliation Party (NRP), addressed the youth of The Gambia during the NRP congress in Brikama Ba.

He encouraged them to train in skills to prepare for future national development. Bah highlighted the significance of peace, stability, and hard work, cautioning against divisive agendas. He reaffirmed the party’s commitment to democratic governance, stating unequivocally that The Gambia will not return to dictatorship or military rule.

Bah also acknowledged the recent protests corruption concerning former President Yahya Jammeh’s assets, urging demonstrators to express their views lawfully while maintaining respect for peace.

He also called for civility and collaboration among political parties, emphasizing that all parties share the goal of improving The Gambia and should show respect for one another, irrespective of their political affiliations.
