The Gambia Revenue Authority (GRA) held a Gender and Diversity Awareness Raising and Training Workshop from December 10 to 16, 2025, at the Senegambia Beach Hotel. This event welcomed participation from Senior Management and Gender Focal Persons.

The workshop sought to promote gender equality and diversity within the GRA, featuring interactive sessions designed to build awareness and develop leadership.

During the closing ceremony, the Honourable Minister of Gender, Children and Social Welfare, Mrs. Fatou Kinteh, along with GRA Commissioner General, Mr. Yankuba Darboe, underscored the authority’s commitment to these critical issues.

Additionally, the workshop assessed the current Gender and Diversity Action Plan and initiated the creation of a new plan for 2026–2028.
