𝐁𝐀𝐍𝐉𝐔𝐋, 𝟏𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Gambians Abroad, on behalf of the Government and people of the Republic of The Gambia, expresses deep sorrow following the tragic crash of a Turkish military cargo plane in Georgia on Tuesday, 11th November 2025, which claimed the lives of 20 service members.

The Government and people of The Gambia extend their sincere condolences and sympathies to the Government and people of the Republic of Türkiye, and to the families of the deceased. We pray that the Almighty grants them strength and comfort during this difficult time, and that the departed souls rest in eternal peace.

In this time of mourning, The Gambia stands in solidarity with Türkiye, offering our support and prayers for healing and resilience.

May the souls of the departed rest in peace and may their families and loved ones find comfort and courage in the days ahead.
