VP Jallow Commends the AfDB Mission for the Youth and Women Empowerment Project

Vice President Jallow of The Gambia reviews the AfDB’s $6M Vulnerable Youth and Women Support Project with stakeholders, focusing on skills training and essential services to empower marginalized groups and drive poverty alleviation in 2025.

On October 15, Vice President Mohammed B.S. Jallow of The Gambia met with a delegation from the African Development Bank (AfDB), led by Aminata Bahum Trawally, to discuss the US$6 million Vulnerable Youth and Women Support Project.

The project focuses on empowering marginalized communities through skills training, literacy, and access to essential services. VP Jallow praised the AfDB’s commitment to human resource development and poverty reduction.

Mr. Momodou Dibba from the National Social Protection Agency emphasized the goal of evaluating progress and addressing challenges to ensure the project’s meaningful impact.
