The Lower River Region Police Command has decorated 41 newly promoted officers in Mansakonko

On December 18, 2025, the Lower River Region Police Command held a ceremony in Mansakonko to honor forty-one newly promoted officers. The event included prayers by Imam Janneh, remarks from Deputy Commissioner DCP Alagie M. I. Joof on the occasion’s significance, and comments from Commissioner of Police CP Mustapha Ndong about the importance of professionalism.

Governor Seedy Lamin Bah also congratulated the officers and highlighted the expectations of their new roles. ASP Bakary Manneh spoke on behalf of the promoted officers, expressing gratitude for the trust placed in them, and the ceremony concluded with closing prayers.
