The Gambia Songhai Initiative (GSI) celebrated 20 out of 48 graduating agripreneurs who received $500 grants from the ROOTS project. Minister of Youth & Sports, Bakary Y. Badjie, encouraged graduates to use their skills in their communities.
ROOTS Project Director Mamour Alieu Jagne and GSI Project Coordinator Mbye Saine expressed gratitude to donors and noted positive feedback from graduates. The event highlighted the importance of partnerships in empowering youth and included a tour of ongoing facility constructions.
