The Gambia IGP Laid the Foundation Stone for Five New Model Police Stations

Inspector General of Police Seedy Mucktarr Touray laid the foundation stone for five new police stations in Basse, Farafenni, Soma, Makama Sirreh, and Brikama as part of the “Gambia Police Force Reform Project.”

This project, funded by EU-German Cooperation and implemented by GIZ, aims to strengthen The Gambia’s security institutions.

The new stations will feature modern facilities that cater to gender sensitivity, include interview rooms, public complaint desks, and ensure accessibility for individuals with disabilities.
