The Gambian international forward Babucarr Steve Trawally’s comeback from a lengthy knee injury has put a smile on the faces of Hammarby fans, as he helped the club to draw 2-2 against Hacken.

The 28-year-old Gambian forward was struck with a knee injury in late 2022, which forced him off global football for almost a year.
But dozens of his Sweden-based league club celebrated his debut return to football for the club that saw him help the club pick up a point after a 2-2 draw over Hacken.
Fans chanted the name of Stave as he got substituted in the 89th minute of the match.
After the match, Babucarr Steve Trawally expressed happiness and gratitude to the club management, its fans, and his team for giving him enormous support throughout his complex injury.
The Gambia’s top forward promised to do his best in contributing to the club’s development and continue putting smiles and joy in the faces of the fans.
“I was very touched by the warm welcome. It means a lot. I love this club, and the support we receive here is something I have never seen before; I greatly appreciate the supporters,” he said.
