On September 5, The Gambia won 3-1 against Kenya in a 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier at Moi International Sports Centre, with goals from Sheriff Sinyan, Yankuba Minteh, and Musa Barrow.

This victory marked Gambia’s second win in Group F, placing them ahead of Kenya. Despite a strong start from Kenya, they only managed to score a late goal from substitute Ryan Ogam in the second half.

Both teams will play again on September 9, with Kenya facing Seychelles and Gambia playing against Burundi.
