President Taye Atseke Silassie launched the Made in Ethiopia Movement to promote a manufacturing-based economy.

At the 3rd Made in Ethiopia Expo 2025, he noted that over 288 manufacturers showcased local products. He emphasized the movement’s role in job creation, enhancing manufacturing, and expanding access to global markets.

He also highlighted the importance of a strong manufacturing base for national progress and expressed optimism about Ethiopia’s economic outlook.
