Marr Nyang, the Executive Director of Gambia Participates, has been honored with the United States Anti-Corruption Champion Award for his outstanding efforts in combating corruption.

The award was presented by U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who acknowledged Nyang alongside nine other leaders from different countries for their significant contributions to promoting accountability and transparency.

Blinken underscored the importance of integrity in governance and reaffirmed the U.S. commitment to the global fight against corruption. In his acceptance remarks, Nyang expressed his gratitude for the recognition and emphasized that the battle against bribery requires collaboration among various stakeholders and communities.
