Iran launched missile strikes on Israel on Friday evening and Saturday morning, killing at least two people. This was in response to an Israeli attack on Tehran that targeted Iran’s nuclear program, resulting in the deaths of two Iranian military officials and civilians.

The conflict has increased tensions between the two nations, with Iran’s Supreme Leader threatening harsh retaliation against Israel.

After the missile strikes, Israel intercepted Iranian drones and missiles, with reports indicating over 100 drones flew through Iraq’s airspace. Israel’s attacks targeted essential sites in Iran, killing key military leaders, which is considered a severe blow to Iran’s regime.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that the U.S. was informed of Israel’s attack plans beforehand, showing that these strikes were part of a larger strategy developed over several months.

The future of U.S.-Iran nuclear negotiations is unclear, with President Trump urging Iran to reach a deal quickly.
