President Adama Barrow inaugurated Lot 2 of the University of The Gambia at the Faraba Banta Campus, which includes the Akinwumi Adesina School of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, the Faculty of Law with a modern moot court, and the Chancery Building, featuring fourteen advanced labs.
He also laid the foundation for Lot 3, which will include the School of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences, featuring sixteen laboratories and a teaching clinic.
The initiative reflects the government’s commitment to enhancing tertiary education, supported by funding from the Gambia Government, BADEA, and the Islamic Development Bank.
