The Minister of Information, Dr. Ismaila Ceesay, welcomed Mr. Manssour Bin Mussallam, Secretary-General of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC), who arrived from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The OSC, established in 2020, focuses on fostering partnerships for inclusive education. Key discussions included the impact of AI on education, The Gambia’s role in the OSC, enhancing basic education through south-to-south cooperation, and advancing Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).
The visit aims to promote innovative educational systems in The Gambia and the Global South.
