The Gambia Police have been presented with materials valued at 13 million dalasis from the Turkish National Police. The two nations maintain their enduring bilateral friendship, which dates to the First Republic. Over the years, this relationship has facilitated training for the Gambian army and the police of Turkey.

The Police Chief of Gambia expressed deep appreciation for the materials donated by the Turkish government and national police. He emphasized the significant impact of their collaboration and the longstanding partnership between the Gambia Police Force and the Turkish National Police. The donated items included tactical uniforms, boots, and summer shoes, which were a timely contribution.
