
The Gambia participated in the African Forum of the Children’s Parliament, held in Rabat, Morocco, under the leadership of Princess Lalla Meryem. The forum highlighted Morocco’s dedication to children’s rights and reflected King Mohammed VI’s vision for fostering solidarity across Africa.
The Gambia’s Minister of Gender, Children and Social Welfare underscored the nation’s commitment to safeguarding children’s rights and urged for enhanced unity among African nations.
A senior delegation from The Gambia, including members of the Children’s National Assembly, emphasized the importance of amplifying children’s voices and reiterated their pledge to advance children’s rights both domestically and across the continent.
