Families of the 346 victims from two Boeing 737 Max crashes attended a court hearing in Texas concerning the government’s request to dismiss criminal charges against Boeing, which is accused of misleading regulators about a faulty system.

Some families oppose this deal, fearing it would let Boeing evade accountability. The Justice Department may refile charges if Boeing fails to comply within two years.
