Aunty Haddy Jatta, a dedicated cleaner at the University of The Gambia, has served for 25 years. In December 2024, Film Studies II students created a documentary and podcast to honor her contributions, leading to a fundraising campaign supported by the Journalism Students‘ Association. As a result, Aunty Haddy received:

– A king-sized mattress, pillows, bedsheets, and curtains

– 10 bags of detergent powder and 17 bags of charcoal for her future small business

– D5,000 to open a savings account

– An additional D5,420 for spending money
