Bilateral Meeting at the 17th MEDays Forum

During the 17th MEDays Forum in Morocco, President Adama Barrow of The Gambia and President Joseph Boakai of Liberia held a bilateral meeting. Barrow congratulated Boakai on his election to the UN Security Council, emphasizing the importance of collaboration within ECOWAS.

They discussed regional security issues, intelligence sharing, and bilateral interests aimed at enhancing tourism, trade, and economic growth. Since 2017, relations between The Gambia and Liberia have strengthened, positively impacting peace and cooperation in the ECOWAS region.
